Feeling Off Balance and Channeling Tips

I feel off today. I feel unbalanced, and I just can’t stand it. Good thing I finished all my homework yesterday. Hopefully, I begin to feel more “complete” later on in the day. I stuck to my plan of finishing all my homework in two days 😉 I think I’m going to spend the day away from my computer and rest. I have to babysit still, but I’ll focus on teaching my nephew his alphabet and how to start spelling simple words like “cat”, “hat”, “sat”, etc. He’ll be starting school soon, so it’ll help him 🙂 I need to focus on being happy. I’m not sad or anything. I just feel weird.

I can’t really think of anything to post (again, my off balance situation), so I decided to bring up an old blog post! This one is on channeling tips!

Back on to the topic at hand: channeling. If you’d like to know how to get into a good meditative state, click here. That’s the first thing to do in order to channel clearly. Really anyone can do it. You just gotta tap into it and practice! Here are some pointers for beginners in channeling.

  1. Clean your energy: This is extremely important because if you don’t do this, then your built up negative energy could influence the messages you receive and who you allow to speak with you. What I usually do for this is imagine a white screen. You know like those outside porch screens or a strainer that you use to rinse out the water when you’re making pasta. I imagine that as being all white with powerful cleansing light. I imagine that screen running through my body from head to toe, and it picks up all my negative energy as it runs through. Then I imagine in my head me picking up the screen and shaking off the negative energy. I do this 3-5 times. Sometimes the screen will run faster through my crown chakra and down my neck, but then slows down when it gets to my heart chakra. If that happens for you, then that means you have a lot of negative built up energy in that one area. I got this beautiful idea from an amazing channeler named Jamie Butler. You can check out the video on her instructions (better instructions I might add) by clicking here
  2. Set Boundaries: this is imperative! You have to set your boundaries on who is able to communicate with you, and what information is allowed to be said to you. I typically call on Saint Michael the Archangel for protection during my channeling, and I imagine a bright white light shielding my entire body. Before I begin communication, I state in my head, “I’m only allowing positive information and a positive interaction that will help with my spiritual journey.” If this doesn’t work, and you feel like you’re in a negative environment when communicating with a spirit, STOP! Stop the channeling session, and start again tomorrow.
  3. Start off simple: Don’t jump into it with deep, intense questions like “when will I die?” Begin with simple “yes” or “no” questions. This is how I started out, and I did this for a couple of months before I graduated to asking short sentenced responses. Overtime, as you begin to feel more confident, you will eventually be able to channel and receive full sentences and paragraph long answers.

Note: Some people receive images, symbols, or strong intuitive feelings as their answers. This is also a form of channeling. It doesn’t all have to be answered in words. It just all depends on how YOU best communicate.

Also, have fun! It will get frustrating, and you may want to give up, but I suggest that you take a deep breath and continue on. You will have self-doubt, and you will feel foolish at the beginning because it feels like you’re just talking to yourself, but have faith. Trust your intuition. The answers and certainty come within yourself. Look for confidence of your channeling internally, and try not to rely so heavily on external sources to validate your channeling because they will only keep your self-doubt at bay for so long. Instead, try practicing on a friend or family member. That’s what I did when I first started out. You may be dead wrong sometimes, but detach yourself from the answers. Let go of the fear of being wrong, which is easier said than done. The best way to learn to channel is through practice, so you may have to roam in the dark for a little bit, but you will eventually find the light at the end of the tunnel.

Don’t forget to comment and share! I love you all, and I am sending you a ball full of light and hugs <3
