Friday Challenge: Opening your Third Eye

Happy Friday! I ordered pizza for myself today because you gotta spoil yourself every once in a while. I was wanting to post about my inspiration behind Inhuman, but as I was typing the story out, it became difficult for me. I wasn’t proud of what happened or what I did at all, but this is a part of me. What happened helped me to grow, and catered to my spiritual journey. I will finish typing it up over the weekend.

For today’s Friday challenge we are going to focus on opening our third eye. As a lot of you know I do psychic readings, and Erik and I have been getting a lot of questions about how you can open your third eye. So I decided it’d be a good idea to address it for this week’s challenge.

  1. Set intent: This is always a first step of mine whenever I do anything. ALWAYS. SET. INTENT. This opens the door for you and opens your mind.
  2. Confidence: Have confidence in yourself! This is crucial because if your heart doesn’t believe, then you’ve already closed yourself off.
  3. Meditate: You’ll want to relax your body and your mind for this activity, so meditate and get to a state of calm. To learn more about getting into a meditative state, click here.
  4. Find your Third Eye: This is pretty simple. Your third eye is located right above your eyebrows. Visualize the energy in your third eye chakra. Is is bright? Is it dim? Does it have a color to it? Taste maybe?
  5. Visualize: I want you to start to visualize the number 1 in your mind’s eye. Focus on that number, and after a minute or two, focus on the number 2. Go all the way up to number 10. If you can imagine all 10 numbers at once in a row, then awesome!

Next, visualize colors in your mind’s eye. Then start to visualize objects like flowers or a chair. Maybe even a person.

Doing this quick meditation is an exercise that helps to open up your third eye. Eventually you’ll be able to gain visuals that seem to just pop into your mind out of nowhere! Seeing through your mind’s eye is something we ALL can do. We all have these abilities. Why? Because we are all spirits. We are all souls of light. We all come from the same place, so we all have these abilities. You just have to tap into it.

I hope you all have a beautiful weekend! Good luck on your third eye chakra opening! Let me know how it goes for you 🙂 don’t forget to comment, share, and like <3 *muah* kisses!

Hi Heather! Awesome post yet again. I am gonna do this while meditating today. I was wondering, from your point of do you imagine/visualize anything? I am gonna try and spell my dilemma out for you. There are two ways i is when i see a shape or an image, mostly it’s easy with numbers behind my eyelids, and the other way is in my mind..but the minute i try to focus on anything (for ex: numbers), it moves and imprints behind my eyelids and i can feel my awareness coming back to the physical world..gets very annoying. Is that normal?

I think they’re one in the same honestly. You can see them behind your eyelids or in your mind’s eye. I see things sometimes behind my eyelids after visualizing them in my mind. I feel both help you to visualize things both in the physical and in the mind’s eye. They go hand-in-hand. You’re on the right path. Don’t worry 🙂

My trouble is with colors. I can see numbers or a heart shape or something, but cant see color yet. Any tips on that? Thanks in advance.

I use to have the same problem when I first started out with trying to see with my mind’s eye. When this was happening to me, I tried researching to find a solution, but I found nothing. It made me feel like something was wrong with me! But let me assure you that there’s nothing wrong with you 🙂 Don’t forget that black and white are colors too! We each learn and grow differently, and some of us experience different things along the way. What i ended up doing was the following:

      1) I didn’t pay attention to colors for a while, and just focused more on objects in my mind and seeing how long I could keep there in my mind without my imagination drifting off.

      2) When you do this long enough, you’ll start to get a tingling in your mind’s eye, that’s when I started to see grey colors. That’s when I started to focus on colors, and colors alone. Just focus on a color like purple or blue, and just think about a wall painted in that color or a blue or purple piece of paper. It may take a couple of tries until you see colors, but you gotta be persistent.

Remember! Patience, determination, and confidence and key <3 I hope this helped.
