My Attempt at Poetry

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend 🙂 I got sick on Friday, so I spent the weekend resting and doing homework. I wrote a poem on Sunday, which I never write poems. I’m not much for a poetry writer, but I had a strong feeling that I needed to write one for some reason. Here it goes!

Breaking through the dark clouds of night
Still there is fog in my sight
I see you but I do not read you
I know that you are there
But what does it mean?
No precious words to pave the way
Only fleeting feelings of security
But what do these feelings mean?
Who are you to me?
The darkness closes in on me
As the questions begin to obscure my vision
The dense fog thickens my every thought
Begins to choke my heart
To know
To not know
It’s like a never-ending curse
Never-ending circles
That I have trapped myself in
Pull me out
Be the sunshine to clear the clouds
Be the bright light I need to see
So I can read you
Be with you

What do ya’ll think? I tried my best 🙂

I’m thinking of doing another beginner’s class in December along with the level II class. I don’t know if I’ll be able to handle two classes at the same time, but I know a lot of you are wanting to take the beginner’s course. I’m still thinking it over, and asking my guides for advice 🙂

I hope you all have a great Monday! I need to get started on my homework and stop procrastinating until the last day. School can get so stressful sometimes, but I’ll kick its ass 😉 Love you all!
