I got the cover for my next book! Erik helped with the title. What do you guys think? It’s a rough edit of it because there’s still some things that I need to add and change, but I’d say it’s a pretty good first draft!
So today is the Friday Challenge! I read that some of you tried Yucka’s exercise on letting go, and I’d like for all of us to do this again today. For those that didn’t read the post from yesterday, Yucka came up with an easy exercise that’ll help with letting go of negative thoughts, feelings, energy, etc.
What you do is imagine a specific event that happened in your past, a person, or a negative thought that’s been eating away at you. I want you to imagine that event, person, or thought morphing into an object like a balloon on a string (it doesn’t have to be a balloon. Use your imagination if you’d like!). Then I want you to simply let go of the string and watch the balloon float away. I want you to imagine all your pain, sorrow, and anguish dissipating as the balloon drifts away.
Do this exercise as many times as needed. I look foreword to reading about your experience with this! I know I’ll be using this exercise a lot. Have a beautiful weekend everyone, and I love you all <3
